Islands Restaurants was founded in 1982 with a basic philosophy serve great, fresh food with friendly service in a fun atmosphere. Islands had a vision of a restaurant that would offer a simple, original menu featuring gourmet hamburgers, specialty drinks and a fun, tropical theme.
Over the years, we’ve added a few more burgers, served too many two-pound baskets of our fresh-cut fries to count, and perfected our salads and soft tacos, but our commitment to you – our guest – hasn’t changed.
Chipotle’s vision of Food With Integrity means the restaurant is constantly working to source better, more sustainable ingredients. Chipotle serves more naturally raised meat than any restaurant in the world from animals that are raised in a humane way, are never given antibiotics or added hormones, and are fed a pure vegetarian diet. In addition, more than 25 percent of all beans served are organically grown, and Chipotle has begun using dairy products that are free of the synthetic hormone rBGH.
